Corporate Worship is Both Vertical and Horizontal

When we are sing songs that edify one another:
God is listening.
And He is glorified.

Teaching says: “Know this.”
Admonishing says: “Now do this.”

“The experience that glorifies God is knowing God truly and feeling him duly. Knowledge that is true to God. Feelings that are due to God. We cannot glorify God as we ought without knowledge that accords with God’s truth and feelings that accord with God’s greatness and beauty and worth. Authentic experience of God must be knowing God truly and feeling him duly.”

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
