Qualifications

All of our counselors are Board Certified as either Biblical or Christian Counselors by a regional or international certification body.

Most of our counselors are certified by The International Board of Christian Care (IBCC).

Cost

Meetings will have an expected donation rate per-session as follows:

Couples and Families: $95

Individual:$75

Payments will be collected by online invoice in advance of the sessions in blocks of either one, two, three, or four sessions at a time.

Expectations

We are a Christ-centered, whole-person oriented, and relationally rooted counseling center. We will only be utilizing Christ-centered and biblically based counseling.

Although some of our Biblical Counselors may be licensed, our counselors will not be operating under professional licenses or providing clinical therapy. Additionally, as we are not a licensed mental health counseling center, we will not be able to diagnose or use therapeutic practices within our services.

Financial Support

We understand some people/families may not be able to afford the full cost of each session, therefore, there will be financial support available for all persons who may be adversely impacted by the increased cost.

At Calvary Biblical Counseling we understand the fine balance between the financial draws of the ever-increasing cost of living and prioritizing your marriage or your own mental health. As such, cost will never be a direct barrier for people to receive care with us.

If your financial situation may cause a barrier to care, please contact us directly to discuss your specific situation and how we can continue to care for you through it.

Insurance

Although we strive to offer biblical counseling services well under the current secular market cost for counseling, we unfortunately do not accept insurance.

Please note that we also do not offer clinical receipts for insurance reimbursement, as our practice is a Christ-based Biblical Counseling service under the auspices of Calvary Community Church and we are not a licensed counseling center as defined by the State of Washington (RCW18.19.040).

Can I see someone immediately?

The first step to care at Calvary Biblical Counseling Center is to create an account and complete the intake forms. Once that is completed, we will place you with the next available counselor that meets your needs. There may be a waitlist.
